Standley Steel uses the latest version of Solidworks 2019 for all their structural and sheet metal design. We are able to turn rough sketches into working drawings for our fabricators to work from. This saves valuable time on the shop floor.
This extra service for our client enables more efficient and quicker turn around on all fabrication work.
Our fabrication staff are fully conversant with Solidworks working drawings.
We can import files from most CAD packages to enable fine tuning or amending of your designs, this enable us to simply make design changes during the fabrication process. A preview of your idea or design can be emailed and viewed in PDF format for you to approve before work commences.
You can now preview your project online using Solidworks viewer software. This is a free download and will enable you to view your project in 3D along with measurements.
